The following are terms and conditions for the sale of goods that will govern any contract for sale that we enter into with you the consumer. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

These Terms and Conditions are set out to make you aware of the rights and obligations you have. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms and Conditions do not affect them. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

We would advise you to print these terms & conditions of sale for your own reference, as they form part of the contract for the sale of goods between DataKits.co.uk and you the consumer.

If you have any issues about our service, or any goods or services you have purchased from us, please send us an email remembering to quote your order number if you have one. All Emails will be dealt with as quickly as possible but we do ask for a 48hour response time Monday to Friday. Any Queries sent at the weekend will be dealt with the following week by the Tuesday

Purchasing from us
To purchase from us you must be over 18 years of age. Currently, we can only ship to limited countries (please check countries on checkout area of the web site). By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods at prices and terms as stated, and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers). We will not use your details for other purposes without asking your consent and you may ask that your details are removed from our system by writing to the address above. We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order - Your order is deemed accepted when you receive a confirmation for despatch of goods, this is when the contract is made. You do not own the goods until we receive payment in full. If you discover you have made a mistake with your order please contact Customer Care immediately. Please do this before we confirm your order. If you order software from us you will also be bound by the terms of the software licence supplied with the software.

Product Conditions

New: Items will be new and will have the Original Manufacturers full warranty.

As New: Items will be in as new condition, but may have been returned to the Original Manufacturer as a failed or incorrect delivery. These items would then be fully tested and reboxed if needed by the Manufacturer and sold "As New" with the Original Manufacturers full warranty.

Refurbished: Items will be used but will have been professionally refurbished to the Manufacturers standard. They will be warranted for 3 Months.

Prices and Payment
All goods are priced inclusive of VAT at the Applicable Rate, unless otherwise stated. For out of stock items, delivery dates given are only estimates. Prices are shown in UK pounds sterling and will be billed in UK pounds sterling. If your credit card company operate in a different currency, your credit card company will convert payment from UK pounds sterling to your local currency at their current conversion rate.
All prices and offers are subject to change, and availability. Prices are checked regularly, however, Whilst every effort is made to eliminate errors in pricing, sometime errors do occur. If prices on web site are shown higher than actual selling price - we will make adjustments and charge the correct price to you, if prices on the web site are shown lower than actual selling price - than we will at our discretion either. a) contact you, cancel your order and refund your money, or b) contact you to confirm if you wish to proceed with the order at the correct price. - Subject to not selling below our cost price.
The purchaser is liable for any local state or country taxes, should these arise. According to our current information, these will not normally arise for deliveries to EU members and some other European countries.

Credit Card Security
Once you have gone through our checkout, you will be diverted to our protected secure online payment system with our credit card processors, either Protx Merchant Services, Paypal or Nochex. Your credit card information will be held in protected SSL secure servers at our Merchant providers only, we will not have access to your credit/debit card details, and we will not release information regarding your credit card. Your credit card details will only be used for transaction authorised by you.
We currently only accept VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, VISA Delta, Electron, Switch, Solo & American Express

(IMPORTANT NOTE: customers using Switch should supply a "Start/Issue Date" and an "Issue Number" for the card where applicable, as well as card number and expiry date.)
